Ravenol South Africa's walk in shop always provides Five Star service. The owner and staff are welcoming and provide knowledgeable advise on the best products for your vehicle. There are plenty of thoughtful touches - e.g. canvas bags - that make the whole experience enjoyable. Every member of staff from workshop to floor staff is friendly and professional, and it is always a pleasure to shop there.

Superb service from a very knowledgeable team, was surprised as too the complexity of different oils and there performance. The owner was very helpful in recommending the correct oil for my application. A neat and well presented showroom showcasing an extensive product range. Good day James, After doing my engine service then Last Monday 02/07/18 I refilled the auto gearbox with Ravenol oil, I’m glad to say the gearbox is a lot more smoother in shifting, so soft I need to monitor my rev count to see that the car is shifting through gears. I’m so happy with your oil and I’m already recommending (word of mouth) to my friends and family. Great doing business with you. I am definitely coming back as a return customer. A clean 100% for service and product.

Here is a short affirmation of the quality of RAVENOL. The transmission service on my wife’s HONDA Jazz was finally due and I drained & replenished with RAVENOL CVT Fluid (see purchase below). There is noticeable improvement in performance and “traction” when engaging into “drive” which the OE lubricant did not have. I will definitely be using this CVT Fluid again! Thanks again for your advice and the great products you guys supply!

Excellent customer service, I ordered RAVENOL ATF+4 from Capetown and it arrived after 1 day, I received a free Ravenol old timer bag and a car air freshener with a signed card from Freddi, customer service doesn't get better than this.

Just thought I’d write back. I popped in Tuesday at your store. I purchased the Ravenol FEL 5w30. What a difference it made to the way my Fiat Doblo multijet runs. It is night and day. It’s way more responsive. Smoother and quieter. Anyhow just thought I’d let you know that the Ravenol is awesome.

I can confirm that my car’s gearbox is shifting a lot smoother ever since I received it back. The only work performed on my car was a change of oil and filter. So the Ravenol DCT/DSG oil is definitely of superior quality than what the Audi agents use.

Hello Freddi and James, This is just a short note to let you know how impressed I am with the Ravenol MTF-2 75W-80 in my Iveco Daily 4×4’s gearbox! I had grown used to struggling to shift gears while still cold, especially into 2nd (either from 1st or down from 3rd). Even a bit of double de-clutching didn’t help. After filling with the MTF engaging any gear is super slick – like a 1.3L Toyota Corolla with 300 000km on the clock! 🙂 Can’t wait to drain the diffs and transfer box and fill with the VSG. Ravenol VMP SAE 5W-30 engine oil: I recently bought the above engine oil from you to service my wife’s 10 year old VW Polo in place of the Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 oil that I’ve used up to now. I’d assumed that it was a very similar oil but am very impressed with the change to the engine. For some time now the engine has had noisy hydraulic lifters which clattered for about a minute on startup. Now they’re completely silent.

I am so happy with FO 5w-30 oil for Ford , Where do you see clear oil in diesel engine, well… with Ravenol yes.

I have changed the oil on my Grand voyager and I can tell you, dam this stuff is good! So far have covered 1500 km’s and the oil is so clean that I battle to find the level on the dipstick.Now busy introducing it to my fellow Grand Voyager crew.

Just thought I’d give you feedback on the 10w40 you sold me for my R6. What a change over the previous Liqui moly the bike came with. Gears are super smooth. Oil really does make a difference.

I really appreciate the time and effort that you do to explain how lubricants work and what additives and base oils are required to classify the oil. Read your article when I had lunch and found it very informative, thank you for all the help and information.

I want to again thank you for the generous sponsorship. This was our 7th annual tour and it is great to inform you that we did not experience any heat seizes as in the past years. (Chicken Runners charity run of Classic Vespa’s that run from Roodepoort past Lesotho to East London, Port Elizabeth and back to Roodepoort – a round trip of 2 700 km’s)

Here is a snippet of an oil analysis I had done on my Chevrolet utility using HLS 5w30 oil. The sample was done after 10 000 km was done on the oil, mostly to work and back every day. Ignore the negative values on soot as the machines are calibrated for diesel oil. Important is the wear and additive values. Just showing that Ravenol is a good oil.
